Production Notes:
In many years, Marc has crafted a Barrel Select version of our Monopole Pinot Noir. However, he has not made a barrel select Pinot since 2009! Only vintages of supreme quality with enough fruit from our small 15-acre estate secure a decision to create a Barrel Select. With 2014 being the ‘vintage of the decade,’ he couldn’t resist tasting through and selecting the best barrels to bottle as our Gold label Barrel Select.

Tasting Notes:
Like our 2014 Monopole, the Barrel Select has a nose of cherry & fresh berry, but boasts more cedar, vanilla and plum on the nose. Bigger on the palate with a defined, velvet structure, the Gold has more notes of nutmeg and baking spice with a wholly smooth, silky finish.
